News for November.! 2008

Hello Family and Friends! We are wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We will be having our dinner at my mom's house here in Florida with our Florida family!

We finally had Tori's 18th birthday party! We camped out in a tent at Kelly Park. Tori invited the family of course and Sarah and Abe Bendoski friends from church and the Brooks family from our old ward in Eustis. The weather was perfect and we had a great time! See pictures that Tori has posted.

Lonnie and I chaparoned a church youth dance with Tori in October. Bryce stayed home as he is not 14 yet! While we were away about 10:15 PM we got a call from Bryce saying that there was a guy driving away with Tori's car. Of course we called 911 and made the report. I asked the police officer if cars get brought back by those that steal them. He looked at me with that look of lady you are living in fantasy land. But, we started praying that the boy that took the car would drive it with care and not damage it and that when he was finished with it he would bring it back home. The next day was Sunday, and as we were leaving for church Russ who is our next door neighbor stopped us and said that he thought he saw our car up in the office parking lot. Our prayers were answered. We were late for church that Sunday but we got the car back and there appeared to be no damage, nothing was taken from the car and only about 1/4 of a tank of gas was used. We felt very blessed! The only bad thing is that he still has the keys so we had to buy a Claw to keep him from taking the car again!

Tori has also included pictures from our Halloween trunk or treat night we had at church and a mud walk that they went on the following day.

I was called as the girls camp coordiantor for our ward! We had a pre camp for all the Liahoha's. We camped out on the Fischers property which is beautiful! The food was great but the weather was less than perfect that Friday evening and night as it rained all night on us. The girls all slept under Bro. Smiths canopy and the ground became saturated like a lake! Tori slept or should I say laid in a pool of cool water for most of the night! All in all it was a good experience and it made her thankful for her warm, soft, dry bed at home! The following day was beautiful and the girls were able to swim and canoe in the canal after they did their service project of course!

Happy Birthday CASEY! She was 23 on the 21st of November! We had her a little family birthday party at Patti and Dan's house!

Now if I may_ I would like to be thankful for a moment with you_ Life is a very good teacher and if we will slow down and enjoy the moments we might just learn a few things_ like prayer changes things and God hears everyone! Simple is better! Cherish the small stuff and don't sweat over the big stuff ask yourself this question: Will it make a difference in the eternities? If the answer is no then it doesn't really matter that much! I love buttercups! They are so beautiful in the spring but they don't last very long - the best things in life seldom do! So for this Thanksgiving give of yourself to someone else by telling them how much you appreciate them and while I have your attention let me just tell you how much you have blessed my life with your friendship and I just want to tell you "Thank you for making me so happy!"

St.Augustine camping trip!

We went to Anastasis State Park. In St. Augustine beach. We tent camped. It was alot of fun! We went down town St. Augustine and went on the original ghostt tour. That is a one life time event thing. We also went on the beach that night and went crad hurting. If anyone dosent know what that is, it is when you go out looking for crads and see who can find the biggest one. Anabell came with us. And she had never done that before so it was funny seeing her run away when the card ran because the run sideways. There was this one card that did come after Anabell and I. That was really scary because he was mad and he wanted to hut us. But it was a good laugh after it happend. They also had a wadding on at the beach. I have never really seen it before so it was cool!

Family Home Even With The Markovitz!

Monday night the Markovitz wanted us to come over and ride in there speed boat. It was alot of fun. Tori and Bryce got to drive it, they said it was the cooles thing they have every driven before. They said when they get older they want to get one. lol After it got dark we went back to the Markovitz house and had ice cream and brownes.

The trip to SC.......We made it back alive.

We went to SC because my grandma wasn't doing well. So we went up for two weeks to make sure she could take care of herself again. The first week we were there Bryce's friend Jesse blow up his four wheeler tire to much. So when they went back down to the woods they started playing again right behind them went the four wheeler tire. Bam tire blew up. Thank goodness the boys were away from the four wheeler or they might have been hurt really bad. The next day came, and the boys were down in the woods playing again. So I thought I would go see what they where up too. They were shooting there bb guns. I dont really remember what happend and how I even got shot by Jesse right in the chest . I felt it go in. But I thought it hit me and gave me a burn and then fell off. But come to find out, it was still in me. I didn't want the boys to know that it was in my chast. So I started to walk up to the house. Bryce was up in a tree so you know he had to of seen it as I was walking away. So he got scared and he got out of the tree and wanted to see it. Jesse the one that shot me was scared. I didnt want to show them at this point because I was trying figguer out everything at the sametime I was going into shock. And let alone it was just the boys and I at home. I wanted to cry at this point, but I didnt because I didnt have time to broke down. And I was scared that when it came time to taje out the bb if it would bleed. I dont like bleed and if I see alot of bleed I will pass out. I finely had the courage to look at the sametime Bryce is wanting to help me get it out with his pocket knift that he says he knows who to do because he has seen it in movies all the time. Right like I would really let him get it out with that. It would only make the hole bigger. Bryce came back with tweezer still wanting to help but I told him I needed space and come back when I have already have it out. That boy is carzy. I got it out the same way you would pop pimple. Aww I know! But I made it out of that one without going to the Doctor's. The next day was Wed. They had a joint activity at The Flower's pool. We got to see all of our friends. Thur. went blowing with Jesse's family. Sat had a church dance. Next week we made it all the way to Logan's 7th b-day and Bryce comes in crying like he is going to die. Come to fine out he broke his collar bone and his toe on the right side because Jesse and him hit each other. So they took bryce to the hospital. I stayed home with Logan. It was a all day thing. Logan said he was having the worst brithday every. We also find out that Jesse was in the room next door to Bryce. He flow over the dirt bikes handledar when they hit each other so he had a hard time breathing. We did get to have Logan's B-day after they got back home. Sat. night We went to see the movie Wally. It was an okay movie. Then we left Sunday to head back home.

Saturday afternoon we went to a primary activity at the Shipley's house. They now have there pool down . yay So what better activity in the summer then a pool party. The kids had a blast. And the parents had fun swimming and talking. The had alot of food. And we had pizza. They even had a slide that lead into the pool. That was cool. Thanks Sis Shipley for the invitation. We had alot of fun! <3

Thurday Brittany and Josh came to Fl so they stoped by to see us. We had alot of fun. We went out on a friends lake and tubed and got to drive a jetski. Really fun! And after that we went swimming in hayleys pool. Then we had to go back to Patti's house and eat dinner. After Dinner we played games and talked till 12:30am  We would have party all night but dad had to come home before 1:00am because he had a cut over for work he had to get on for. But in all we had fun and we are glad we got to see Brittany and Josh before they left for home.
